Suzuki has issued a recall of some models of Kizashi vehicles as a result of spiders, who are atracked to the tanks and who create webs that can clog a fuel vapor vent hose causeing the gas tank to deform or crack leading to fuel leaks and possible fires.
NHTSA Official Description
Suzuki Motor Of America, Inc. (Suzuki) is recalling certain model year 2010-2013 Kizashi vehicles manufactured October 2009 through July 2012. In the affected vehicles, spiders may weave a web in the evaporative canister vent hose, blocking it and causing the fuel tank to have an excessive amount of negative pressure.

Suzuki will be notifying owners of the affected vehicles early September is in the process of notifying owners. Owners of the reaclled cars can take them into the and dealership and have the evaporative canister vent line . If the canister vent has already been damaged the fuel tank will be replaced as well.
